Ryan Lee Roth, 35, of Cutler, died at 11:20 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 11, 2009, in a single-vehicle accident in Carroll County.

Born Sept. 14, 1973, in Lafayette, he was the son of Donald and Sandra Cook Roth of rural Flora. He was a 1993 graduate of Delphi Community High School. His marriage was on March 25, 2000, in Cutler, to Breezy D. Davenport, who survives.

Mr. Roth worked for Carman Excavating of Cutler and previously drove a semi for Singletree Transportation, Inc., Flora, for four years.

He enjoyed boating, fishing, hunting, river activities and riding ATVs.

His sons, family and friends were everything to him.

Surviving with his wife and parents are two sons, Zackary R. Roth and Wyatt D. Roth, both at home; two brothers, Rick Roth (wife: Sandy) of Flora and Rob Roth (wife: Jean) of Monticello; his maternal grandmother, Phyllis Cook of Flora; his father-inlaw, John Scott (wife: Genny) of Monticello; and his motherin law, Kathy Musall (husband: Dennis) of Walton.

Preceding him in death were his paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather.

Visitation will be Thursday from 3 to 8 p.m. at Abbott Funeral Home in Delphi. Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Jeff Brown will officiate. Burial will follow at Ball Hill Cemetery near Cutler.
