Area IV Agency on Aging and Community Action Programs will offer special activities for seniors age 55 and over called "Terrific Thursday" Jan. 29. from 9 to 11 a.m. at Great Skates, located at 135 S. Earl Ave. in Lafayette. The location is handicap-accessible and offers convenient parking. There is a small cost per person and groups are welcome.

Activities will include square dance lessons by the Lafayette Fun Squares with caller Dick Burns, a skee ball tournament, card games, limbo, prizes, refreshments and more.
