Comet staff report

Delphi Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a free, four-part education series for member businesses. The series' first topic will be on shoplifting and will be held Thursday, Jan. 29, at 6:30 p.m. at the Delphi Chamber office, 113 S. Washington St.

The series will continue the last Thursday of the month, February through April, with topics to be covered including internal and employee theft, general security, and bad checks/civil suits. Instructor will be Dale Seward of Bob's Investigations, the series co-sponsor.

Seward will teach from his law enforcement experience as well as his years of experience with his private detective business. "The business community was always a priority to me as an officer and it still is," Seward said. "These four areas are always a point of concern and confusion for most businesses."

Questions can be answered by the Chamber office at (765) 564-3034 or by calling Seward at (812) 988- 8058.
