Deep and Simple with Joe Peters will perform at the Jan. 17 Coffee Beat at 7 p.m. Joe settled in West Lafayette in 2006 after living in Southeast Asia for ten years. He plays original contemporary folk songs about domestic and international war, peace, love, hate, farmers and city dwellers on the guitar.
