Thelma Mae Moore

Services for Thelma Mae Moore, 92, of Rossville, were held Saturday in Russiaville. Burial followed at Geetingsville Cemetery.

She died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2008, at Milner Community Health Care Center, Rossville.

Born Dec. 24, 1916, in Carroll County, she was the daughter of Murry and Mary Sutton Beck. Her stepmother was Fern Paddock Beck. She married H. Doyle Moore in 1937 and he preceded her in death in 2003.

Mrs. Moore retired from Mallory Controls in Frankfort in 1978. She also helped with farming.

Surviving are a daughter, Janet Strubel (husband: John) of Rossville; a son, Wayne Moore (wife: Mary Ann) of Bluffton; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
