Dorothy G. Kirkpatrick Brown, 73, of Union City, Ohio, formerly of Logansport passed away Monday, Dec. 22, 2008, at the Heartland Nursing Home in Greenville, Ohio.

Born May 12, 1935, in Carroll County, she was the daughter of the late Samuel E. and E. Susanna Sines Kirkpatrick.

Mrs. Brown was a loving mother, grandmother and sister.

She had been a home health care provider.

Mrs. Brown was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Greenville.

Surviving are: two sons Robert L. Ashby Jr. (wife: Patty) of Bradenton, Fla., and James Brown (wife: Connie) of Winchester; three daughters, Dawn Martin and Nancy Brown, both of Union City, Ohio, and Kelly Schafer of Tennessee; one sister, Kathy Miller (husband: Jim) of Logansport; 22 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were three sons, Jeffrey Ashby, Kevin Brown and Colin Brown; two daughters, Debra S. Ashby and Rebecca Brown; and one brother, David Norzinsay.

Services will be held Saturday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Greenville. Elder Dan Beseker will officiate. Burial of ashes will be May 29 at Ball Hill Cemetery near Cutler.
