Natalie Harris For decades, affordable choices for wedding gowns in central Indiana have been limited to mass-produced, cookie-cutter dresses. Now Natalie Harris Design introduces an alternative.

Harris, a Carroll County native and 2001 Carroll High School graduate, designs custom bridal wear, ensuring ideal fit for each client's body type, personality, and occasion. This specialized service is designed for today's budget-conscious bride.

Brides consult with a local Natalie Harris consultant to determine silhouette, embellishment, and fabrics. Using a client photo, a highly-detailed fashion illustration is created, based upon those style preferences. That likeness is available to show the design-in-progress to family and friends, and comes as Bridal Shower invitations or Thank You cards. Each design is reviewed by the Natalie Harris Production team, who provide an estimate to the bride.

After graduating from Purdue's Apparel Design & Technology program, Harris was immediately drawn to the bridal industry. While working at Winnie Couture and in a Houston, Texas, bridal salon, she began freelance bridal design with clients. At first she constructed each piece herself, but has now teamed up with couture factories based in New York and Los Angeles. With their experience, efficiency, and craftsmanship, any design is possible!

Natalie Harris Design is growing, with five regional Sales Consultants, including a central Indiana contact, Harris' younger sister, Annette Miller.

Plans for 2009 include growing the evening collection to include Prom, Pageant, and Women's Special Occasion as well as expanding to bridal wholesale, making Natalie Harris Bridal & Evening available in bridal salons nationwide. A lifestyle swimwear line, Jet Set Swim, is also in production and set to debut for Summer 2009.
