Jean B. Schrader
Born Sept. 19, 1939, in Rockville, Md., she was the daughter of the late John and Isabelle Harvey Best. Her marriage was on June 17, 1961, in Delphi to Larry L. Schrader, who survives. Mrs. Schrader attended Camden High School and the Lockport Church. She worked for the Delphi Community School Corporation for over 20 years. Mrs. Schrader enjoyed crossword and word search puzzles, flower gardening, nature and birds. She was an avid New York Yankees baseball fan. She dearly loved her family and enjoyed being with them all. Also surviving are two sons, Phil W. Schrader of Delphi and Troy Schrader (wife: Julie) of Monticello; two daughters, Stephanie Wilson (husband: Paul) of Camden and Shelly Will (husband: Harry) of Delphi; three sisters, Freda Everett, Lorraine Cockrum and Shirley Goyer (husband: Don), all of Delphi; and six grandchildren. Preceding her in death were an infant grandchild, three brothers and two sisters. Visitation will be today, Wednesday, at 1 p.m. until funeral services at 2 p.m. at Abbott Funeral Home in Delphi. The Rev. Andy Glass and the Rev. Nord Zootman will officiate. Burial will follow at IOOF Cemetery in Delphi. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
