Deer Creek Festival is Saturday

The annual Deer Creek Festival and Hog Roast will be this Saturday at the Deer Creek Community Center on State Road 29.

Children's games and contests will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The fun activities willinclude m o o n walk, score ball, pop toss, toss across, and bouncy balls.

All ages can play bingo from 1 to 3 p.m., with an assortment of prizes to be given.

Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and the allyou can-eat hog roast will be from 4 to 7 p.m.

Door prizes and raffles will be offered throughout the day.

All proceeds from the event go to the Deer Creek Community Center.

In conjunction with the festival, the Deer Creek Presbyterian Church will be serving a biscuit and gravy breakfast from 8 to 10 a.m. at the church, and will host a flea market in the church parking lot from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
