Shaffer benefit dinner is set June 25

A dinner to benefit Todd and Cheryl Shaffer of Madison Township has been set for June 25 at Carroll High School cafeteria. Serving will be from 4:30 to 8 p.m. Todd was recently diagnosed with throat cancer.

Tickets for the pork loin dinner are: age 12 and younger $5; age 13 and older $8. All meals, dine in or carry-out, are available by pre-sold tickets only. Donations are accepted.

Advance tickets are available at Delphi City Building, Flora Utilities Office, Flower Shoppe in both Delphi and Flora, and Bush Veterinary Clinic. Extension Homemakers will also have meal tickets for sale.

Tri Kappa members will have tickets for meals and a "Barn Raising" quilt done by Quality Quilters Club. The quilt is done in shades of browns and reds with stars scattered all over the 75x90 design. There are various door prizes available for a silent auction with more donations accepted.
