Elizabeth I. Eller

Elizabeth I. Eller, 80, of Flora, passed away at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 10, 2008, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Center in Delphi.

Born Jan. 31, 1928, in Flora, she was the daughter of Basil and Faye Cline Ayres. She was a 1946 graduate of Flora High School. On May 2, 1947, she married Dale L. Eller at the Church of the Brethren in Flora. He preceded her in death on May 21, 2003.

Mrs. Eller had been employed at Stephan's IGA for 16 years, Graham's Corner and Eller Service Station, all in Flora.

She was a member of the Living Faith Church of the Brethren. She was also one of the local founders of Delta Theta Chi Sorority, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and served as Assistant Mother Advisor to the Rainbow Girls.

She is survived by four daughters, Shirley Chodorowski (husband: Tom) of Florida, Rita Hudelson (husband: Jerry) of Lafayette, Janet Kingen (husband: Mark) of Ohio, and Susan Denny (husband: Greg) of Flora; nine grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.

Services will be today, Wednesday, at 11 a.m. at the Living Faith Church of the Brethren. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 4 to 8 p.m. at Reinke Funeral Home, Flora, and one hour prior to the service at the church. Pastor Jeff Tomson will officiate. Burial will follow at Maple Lawn Cemetery, Flora.
