Barbara L. Ritchey

Barbara L. Ritchey, 75, of Bringhurst, died Thursday, May 8, 2008, at St. Vincent Heart Center of Indiana.

Born Feb. 6, 1933, in Swayzee, she was the daughter of Jum and Charlene Phillips Haynes. She was married on July 4, 1973, in Burlington, to Kenneth R. Ritchey, who survives.

She retired in 1980 from Delco Electronics where she was an inspector.

Also surviving are a son, Jay Tinkle (wife: Berta) of Marion; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert Haynes of Indianapolis; and two stepdaughers, Teresa Waters of Mount Vernon, Wash., and Michelle Slayton of Phoenix, Ariz.

Services and burial were Tuesday in Burlington.
