'Guys and Dolls Jr' is next Stargazers 'boffo' production

Auditions for Delphi library's Stargazers production of "Guys and Dolls Jr." will be May 27. All actors who want to audition should call the library at (765) 564- 29292 to register. The musical will be performed July 25 and 26.
Children in kindergarten through fourth-grade will audition at 4 p.m. Students past fourth-grade through eighthgrade will audition at 6 p.m.
The Broadway classic introduces the colorful characters who have become legends in the canon: Sarah Brown, the mission director out to reform the evildoers of Times Square; Sky Masterson, the highrolling gambler who woos her on a bet and ends up falling in love; Adelaide, the nightclub performer whose chronic cold is brought on by the fact she's been engaged to the same man for 14 years; and Nathan Detroit, her devoted fiancé, is desperate as always to find a spot for his infamous floating crap game. The show highlights well-known songs such as "A Bushel and Peck," "Rockin' the Boat"
