Elizabeth Ellen Anders and Kent Thomas Overholser, both of Flora, announce their engagement.

She is the daughter of Wayne Anders of Bush, La., and Barbara Jackson of Harvey, La. His parents are Tom and Beverly Overholser of Bringhurst.

The bride-elect is a 1995 graduate of Huntington North and a 2000 graduate of Purdue University. She is employed at Mulberry Health & Retirement Community and is studying to obtain an administrator's license.

Her fiancé is a 1998 graduate of Carroll High School and is engaged in farming.

They are planning a May 31 wedding in Gatlinburg, Tenn.
