Police & Fire Calls Delphi Police Dept. April 25, 2:46 a.m. - Intimidation with a deadly weapon, OWI-prior, felony resisting law enforcement, and felony possession of marijuana, 9142W 310N, Delphi. Danny K. Moyers Jr., 34, Delphi was arrested. Alleged perpetrator threatened to kill James Martin, Delphi, with a hatchet as witnessed by police. Moyers fled on foot and on a moped. Moyers was removed from the moped and was found to have 390 grams of marijuana on his person. Moyers refused tests to determine alcohol consumption. Officer Justin Wilson responded. April 28 - Theft, 701 Armory Rd., Delphi. Money was taken on two separate occasions from Heather Small, Monon, and Beverly J. Hathaway, Delphi, at the same address. Officer David Yeager responded. April 29 - Public intoxication, alley between Monroe and Franklin streets. Cody A Hufford, 21, Delphi, was arrested. Officer Shane Bernhardt responded. April 30, 10:28 a.m. - Property damage, Monroe and Washington streets. Bill Stewart, 74, Delphi, and unoccupied vehicle. Officer Paul Vondrasek responded. April 30, 10:35 p.m. - Battery/OWI, W. Main and Summit streets. Asselin Jason, 25, Delphi, was arrested. Officer Chuck Kent investigated. May 1, 1:06 a.m. - Operating while never licensed, S. Washington and Water streets. While stopped for a traffic violation, Jaime Martinez, Delphi, was arrested on suspicion of operating while never licensed. He was found to also be using false identification. Wilson investigated. Sheriffs Dept. Criminal/non-criminal reports April 24, 1:11 p.m. - Assisting another agency, 2700 block of N. 900W. Ryan Johnson, 23, Delphi, was taken into custody after fleeing a crash scene. He was held on preliminary charges of OWI and leaving the scene of a property damage crash. Deputy Grant Davidson investigated. April 24, 5:20 p.m. - Theft, 2600 block of W. 630N. Leroy Hancock reported several collectors coins taken from his residence. Davidson investigated. April 25, 12:15 p.m. - Burglary, 11805 W. Tecumseh Bend Rd., Brookston. A toolbox with several hand tools were taken from a garage owned by Robin Flanagan. Det. Steve Mullin investigated. April 25, 4 p.m. - Theft, 6391S. 800W., Rossville. White, 20 foot long RV trailer owned by Kenneth Schiery was reported missing. Sgt. Dennis Randle investigated. April 28, 1:45 p.m. - Theft, 6563W. 300N., Delphi. Hoosier Harvestore Systems reported cast iron transmissions and other metal items missing from the business location. Det. Kevin Hammond investigated. April 29, 7:52 p.m. - Theft, 6710E. SR218, Camden. Medication was removed from a vehicle belonging to Cassie Sexton while it was parked in the Deer Creek area. Sgt. Mark Back investigated. April 30, 2:25 p.m. - Theft, 11108N. Landings Rd., Monticello. Albert Demko reported theft of personal property and kitchen devices removed from the property by a previous rental tenant. Maj. Tobe Leazenby investigated.
