Paul E. Hedderich Paul Edward Hedderich, 79, of Delphi, died at 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, 2008, at Rosewalk Village Nursing Home, Lafayette. Born April 3, 1929, in Logansport, he was the son of Frank E. and Esther M. Lesh Hedderich. He graduated from Camden High School in 1947. On Dec. 29, 1967, in Coraopolis, Pa., he married Valerae Linda Steinmetz, who preceded him in death on April 23, 1996. Mr. Hedderich was a farmer. He served in the U.S. Air Force. His hobbies were hunting, fishing and carpentry. Surviving are two sisters, Carolyn James of Santa Barbara, Calif., and Margaret "Bunny" Boardman of Lafayette; nine nieces and nephews; 17 greatnieces and nephews; four greatgreat nieces and nephews; and all of his friends at The Sandwich Shop, Clawson's and Mears' Meathouse in Delphi. He was preceded in death by his father on Dec. 12, 1974; his mother on Nov. 15, 1953; and his brother, Fred Hedderich. Graveside service was held Sunday at Camden Cemetery with Brad Burton officiating. Military rites were by American Legion Post #413. Memorials may be made to the Carroll County Cancer Association, 6940 W. Crestwood Dr., Delphi, IN 46923. Cree Funeral Home, Camden, handled arrangements. |
