Sheep Weigh-In

All 4-H sheep must be ear tagged, retinal image scanned, and weighed by the 4-H Sheep Committee in order for them to show in 2008. This year's weigh-in date is May 12 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Note: Pre-registration will be on a first call basis to the Extension Office - 765-564-3169.

Livestock and Horse & Pony Forms Deadline

All 4-H members taking livestock projects and horse & pony are reminded that your animal enrollment forms are due in the 4-H Office by May 15. Call 765-564-3169 if you have any questions in completing your forms.

Livestock Workshops

4-H'ers taking livestock projects - beef, sheep, swine - should plan to attend the appropriate species workshop on May 13 from 6- 9 p.m. at the 4- H building. Mike Witte and Katie Dillon will present a livestock workshop covering helpful tips on showmanship, grooming, and feeding. The schedule for specific showmanship tips is: sheep, 6 p.m.; swine, 7 p.m., and beef, 8 p.m.
