Wallar celebrates 100th
      Adaline Groninger Wallar is celebrating her 100th birthday today, May 7. She is a life-long resident of Burrows. Mrs. Wallar was born May 7, 1908, to Addie and Frank Groninger. She had two brothers and three sisters, all of whom are deceased.

First of the season trail hike
      The first in a series of trail walks will start the spring season on Saturday, May 10. Hikers may assemble at the east end of Riley Road at the top of Delphi's south hill (east off of Prince William Road and east of US 421/39) at 1 p.m. The narrated walk will last about two hours.

Rural Flora child severely injured in mowing mishap
      A three-year-old rural Flora boy, identified as Shelbee Wolf, son of Rodney and Patty Wolf, was flown by PHI Air Medical to Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis after he suffered severe leg and foot injuries last Wednesday afternoon.

      Delphi Cub Scouts Pack 3165 held the club's annual Pinewood Derby March 15 at the Wabash & Erie Canal Interpretive Center. Scout representatives Rick Acheson and mayor Randy Strasser judged cars for best design, most original and best scouting spirit.
