Sport shorts Two 5th grade students from Carroll Elementary, Courtney Atkisson and Carly Kingery, are members of the Indiana Magic 10U Fast Pitch Travel Softball Team. On April 19 and 20 their team competed in the 5th Annual Xtreme Earlie Birdie Tournament in Kankakee, Ill., where they won the championship. The team played six games, loosing only one game by one point. They are the daughters of Doug and Tisha Atkisson of Burlington and David and Cathy Kingery of Flora. |
