Delphi Police Dept.

April 3 - Criminal mischief, Clawson Appliance and Delphi Comet office. Attempted breakins at two businesses from the alley. Officer Paul Vondrasek responded.

April 3, 3:20 p.m. - Criminal mischief, Delphi Community High School parking lot. Car vandalized. Vondrasek responded.

April 4, 10:30 p.m. - Conspiracy to commit a crime, Stoney Dr. Report of several items used for the manufacturing of methamphetamine. Identifying receipts found. Report forwarded to CCSD and prosecutor's office. Officer Justin Wilson investigated.

April 7, 2:30 p.m. - Operating while never licensed, Washington St. at Main St. Hector Tinoco, 20, Logansport, was arrested during a traffic stop. Chief Justin Darling responded.

April 7, 3:30 p.m. - Property damage, Washington St. at Canal Park. David C. Ferreck, 63, Delphi, and Ray Peterson, 57, Sedalia. Vondrasek responded.

April 8 - Minor in possession of tobacco, DCHS. Darling responded.

April 10 - Juvenile delinquency, N. Wells St. Juvenile admitted smoking marijuana and consuming alcohol. Wilson responded.

April 16 - Criminal mischief, Heartland Screen Printing and Delphi Comet office. Both businesses reported attempted break-ins from the alley. Vondrasek responded.

April 16, 4:04 p.m. - Theft, Hilltop Maramart. Ryan Johnson, 23, Delphi, was arrested on suspicion of theft, false informing and on a warrant for theft from an unrelated case. Vondrasek investigated.

April 19, 10:30 p.m. - Assisting another agency, SR25. Assisted CCSD and ISP in a traffic stop. Officer Shane Bernhardt responded.

April 22, 11:52 p.m. - Warrant service, Illinois St. Cory Heckathorn, 31, Delphi, arrested on a Cass County warrant. Officer Chuck Kent responded.

April 23 - Found property, 124 E. Main St. Bicycle left behind Times Past Antiques. Yeager responded.

April 23, 11:36 a.m. - Theft, Discount Tobacco Store, 303 W. Main St. A man pumped $30 worth of gas and left without paying. Officer David Yeager responded.

April 25 - Property damage, Subway parking lot. Eloisa Martinez, 34, Delphi and an unidentified vehicle. Kent responded.

April 25, 9:11 p.m. - Found property, 322 E. Main St. Gun found in a garage owned by Donald Casey, 49, Delphi. Kent responded.

April 27, 3:40 p.m. - Criminal trespass, 407 W. Main St. Anthony Crary, 19, Lafayette, was charged after found hiding, with another subject, under the covers of a juvenile girl's bed by the girl's mother when she returned home. Vondrasek responded.

April 18, 12 a.m. - Auto theft/receiving stolen auto parts, 1103 Foxwood Ct., Monticello. Resident reported vehicle stolen from her address. It was later found at 11910W. Lake Bluff Rd., Monticello. Det. Kevin Hammond investigated.

April 18, 9:38 p.m. - Assisting another agency, 1552N. Charles St., Delphi. James P. Kennedy, 30, Delphi, was arrested on suspicion of resisting law enforcement and public intoxication after a domestic disturbance report. Deputy Grant Davidson responded.

April 20, 12:33 a.m. - Assisting another agency, SR25. Juvenile driver was arrested on suspicion of DWI and underage consumption. Passengers Jake P. Neidlinger, 18, and Michael Vail, 18, both of South Bend, were charged with underage consumption and incarcerated. Sgt. Mark Back responded.

April 20, 11:25 a.m. - Battery, 12197 Upper Lake Shore Dr. Four unidentified people were involved and separated for the evening. Hammond investigated.

April 20, 8 p.m. - Emotionally disturbed offender, Burlington. Male involved in a domestic disturbance was taken into custody for his own safety and transported to a Lafayette area hospital. Hammond responded.

April 20, 8:30 p.m. - Cruelty to an animal, 600 block of East CR50N. A juvenile admitted to shooting a Canadian goose with a bow and arrow. The goose was found still flying with an arrow lodged in its body. Report forwarded to probation. Hammond investigated.

April 21, 6:44 p.m. - Assisting another agency, 310 N. Washington St., Flora. Search warrant executed associated with a recent burglary at Payne's Pharmacy. K- 9 Deputy Mike Thomas.

April 22, 10:05 p.m. - OWI/prior, 11914 N. Winsor Rd., Monticello. Dustin Inman, 25, Delphi, was taken into custody on a Tippecanoe County warrant for possession of marijuana. Inman was found to be driving with a suspended license and was suspected of operating while intoxicated. Deputy Jay Schimmel responded.

April 23, 10:15 p.m. - Theft, 11900 block of Winsor Rd., Monticello. Nikki Applegate, Delphi, reported money taken in the C&C Beach area. Davidson responded.

April 23, 11:15 p.m. - Battery/ aggravated. 400 block of N. Union St. Back investigated.
