Burlington The Indiana Kiwanis Governor will be speaker at Saturday's 7:30 a.m. breakfast-meeting of the Burlington Kiwanis Club. In the evening, the Kiwanis Club will sponsor a benefit spaghetti supper with all proceeds going to Jacob Dowden and the Burlington Ministerial Association. Serving will be in the Community Building from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Community Club will meet Monday at 7 p.m. at the park. Faith Church of Christ will host a blood drive Tuesday from 1 to 6:30 p.m. A Mother-Daughter Banquet will be held at 6 p.m. May 7 at the Church of Christ. An open house will be held Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the United Methodist Church parsonage. A women's breakfast will be held at 8:15 a.m. May 11 at the United Methodist Church. Crossroads Community Christian Church youth group will meet at 6 p.m. Sunday. An evening with Betty Gray will be held Sunday at Faith Church of Christ. The Faith Family Life Center will be open for volleyball on May 1 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. A Mother-Daughter Banquet will be held at the First Brethren Church at 6 p.m. May 7. Six women from the First Brethren Church were recently in Shipshewana for a chocolate retreat. Oakland Christian Church men's breakfast will be held Saturday at 7 a.m. at Eller's. |
