The installation for the Rev. Dave Herron will be at Deer Creek Presbyterian Church on Sunday at 3 p.m. Everyone is invited. Light refreshments will be served afterwards.

The PW Circle of Deer Creek Presbyterian Church has been rescheduled for April 30 at 7:30 p.m. at Doris Jean Bryan's home. The lesson will be given by Bonnie Taylor.

A group of women got together recently at Lavon Johnson's home. They are working on some of the history of Washington Twp. They would like anyone who has some input to contact any of them with pictures or stories about the township. Those attending were Karen Hylton, Ellen Herr, Judy Bowman, and Mary Ellen Johnson. A correction needs to be made that the book they are planning to publish on the history of the township, schools and businesses is a fundraiser for the Deer Creek Community Center.

The Good Neighbor Gals went out to lunch recently after a long winter. They went to a Flora restaurant. Those attending were Betty Bell, Doris Jean Bryan, Mary Ellen Johnson, Marilyn Hile, Liz Mylet, Ellen Herr, Dottie Delaplane and Helen Forgey.
