Bloodmobile visits Flora

Forty-nine units of blood were received from 59 volunteers when the Red Cross Bloodmobile visited Flora on April 17.

The Flora Old Order German Baptist Church with eight volunteers will receive $100 from Flora Psi Iota Xi for having the most donors. The Bringhurst United Methodist and the Delphi United Methodist tied for runner-up with five volunteers each.

Those receiving gallon pins were: Harold Killingsworth, Bringhurst, 22 gallons; Carolyn Pearson, Delphi, 20 gallons; Joyce Sparks, Flora, 8 gallons; Rosanna Riffey, Flora, and David Weckerly, Delphi, 6 gallons; and Gary Cleaver, Delphi, 3 gallons.

First-time volunteers were: Carole Miller, Delphi, and Bonita Baker, Delphi.
