ACDC is sponsoring a Hap's chicken bash tonight, April 23, from 4;30 to 7 p.m.

Ralph and Etta Byers, along with their daughter and husband Steve and Vicki Anderson, have returned from a seven-day trip to Las Vegas. While there they did some touring, including the Grand Canyon, and saw some shows.

The Golden Girls of Deer Creek went out to lunch recently to Frankfort. Those attending were Bob and Pat Burnham, Darletta and, Joann Jones of Thorntown, Jerry and Mary Blue of Cutler, Dot Fulton, Marilyn Hile, Margy Albaugh of Deer Creek and Jane Slusser of Logansport.

Judy Bowman Leach and Karen Hylton and the Friends of the Parks are getting together history from all over Washington Twp. They want pictures and pictures of any Deer Creek business. Anyone having stories or pictures to share, call Judy at 686-2921. This will be made into a book to be sold as a fund raiser for the parks.

Eldon Robeson has had successful gall bladder surgery in St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.
