Tri Kappa

The Associate Chapter of Tri Kappa met for a luncheon and meeting April 13 at the home of Faye Underhill.

Officer elections were held. Co-presidents are Mary Helen Abbott and Pat Duff, vice president is Marjory Clifford, treasurer is Mary Clawson and secretary is Mary Wesner.

The club will decide in May what the local project will be.

The Birthday Pig was fed by Linda Carroll.

The Province Convention will be held Aug. 16.

Classy Classic EH

Classy Classic Extension Homemakers met at the home of Melverine Gruber near Monticello on April 14, with 11 members and two guests in attendance. Vice president Pat Rodgers presided.

Judy Downham presented the devotions, "Reflections of Springtime."

Volunteers are needed to help with Open Class at the Carroll County 4-H Fair in July, and readers are needed to help with the First Books Program at Carroll School Corporation.

"Signs of Stroke" was the topic for the health and safety discussion. Members were reminded to add ICE (In Case of Emergency) to their cell phone directories.

The lesson was "Taking Control of Emotional Eating," presented by Jeanette Crum.
