Grace College signs Carroll runner Carroll senior Sean Smith of Bringhurst has signed a letter of intent to continue his track career at Grace College, Winona Lake. Smith is a four-year letter winner in both track and cross country and has been recognized as an all-conference winner. A regional qualifier and a semi-state qualifier. He intends to major in Biblical studies and minor in pre-law. Smith is currently ranked 11th in his senior class with 3.968 GPA. He is a member of National Honor Society, student council, and is also a DARE role model. He has been awarded the Top 10 Scholar Award for the past three years. "Grace is a perfect fit for me academically, spiritually, and athletically," said Smith about his college choice. "I was looking for a college that is small and Christian-based and Grace is that perfect fit for me." Smith's high school coach, Mike Miller, had this to say, "Sean is an athlete that works very hard and he excels in the classroom as well as the athletic field." |
