12th annual Garden Fair is April 26

Carroll County Garden Club will host the 12th annual Carroll County Flower and Garden Fair on April 26, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Merchants' Building at Flora Community Park.

Vendors will have flower, herb, and vegetable plants, along with tropical plants, ornamental grasses, alpine garden plants, hanging baskets, birdhouses, garden art, organic fertilizers, and much more for sale.

The Garden Club started the garden fair to promote local lawn and garden businesses and to encourage gardening at all ages.

Again this year there will be packets of flower seeds free to the first 50 children at the fair. Children will also have the opportunity to "plant and take" away a flower for their gardens at home.

Master Gardener interns will provide information and short presentations beginning at 10:30. Garden Club members will conduct a free raffle of plants and other garden goodies.

Admission to the fair is free.
