Author, radio talk-show host, and speaker Kendra Smiley, the sister of Delphi resident Patsy McCammack, will be featured April 22 in a special program, "Empowering Choices," at 7 p.m. Call the library for a reservation. Seating is limited.

Morning Book Club will meet for breakfast and discussion April 25 at 9. This month's book selection is "Three Cups of Tea" by Greg Mortenson. In 1993 Mortenson was the exhausted survivor of a failed attempt to ascend K2. After being nursed back to health by the people of an impoverished Pakistani village, he promised to return one day and build them a school. The vow grew into one of the most humanitarian campaigns of our time by building schools, especially for girls, throughout the breeding ground of the Taliban.

The April 26 Coffee Beat will feature Steve Hill, at 7 p.m. The event will offer an evening of live music, hot coffee, desserts and wonderful ambiance.

Bring fiber arts projects to the April 28 meeting of In Stitches at 7 p.m. This would be a good time to wrap up those winter knitting, quilting and crochet projects. Bring a snack to share with the group.

For information call the library at (765) 564-2929.
