The youth of Faith Lutheran was in charge of the worship service last Sunday.

Presbyterian Women of the Deer Creek church will meet April 23 at 7 p.m. at the home of Doris Jean Bryan. The women are invited to attend.

Wayne and Helen Forgey and Gary and Kim Forgey attended the music recital of Patrick Forgey that was held at the Rossville Church of the Brethren. He is an advanced student of Rhonda Skinner.

Deer Creek Presbyterian Church recently took into membership three new members - Martha Bowyer, Bev Frushour and Sharon Herron. The worship committee, Lois Wallace and Shelia Meek, was in charge of fellowship and served cake to welcome the new members.

Harry and Margy Albaugh have returned home after spending the winter in Florida.

Don and Betty Bell were picked up by their grandson, Tommy Bell, who took them to Osceola to see their new greatgranddaughter, Breanna Lundy, daughter of Matt and Tara Lundy. Tara is the daughter of Terry Bell of Florida. They also spent time with Tommy, his wife, Theresa, and their son, James.
