HOW TO START YOUR OWN BUSINESS WORKSHOPwill be held April 16 from 1 to 4:30 p.m. at the Swezey Commerce Center, 337 Columbia St., Lafayette. The workshop is free and open to anyone interested in starting a business or who is already in business and seeks more information. To make a reservation or for more information, call 765-496-6491. The workshop is being sponsored by the Greater Lafayette Small Business Development Center.

SAFE SLEEP TRAINING will be offered by The Child Care Resource Network on April 26 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Cass County. The training is free, but seating is limited. To reserve a spot, call Erin at 765-742-7105 ext. 106, by April 23. Location will be given at that time. This training is open to anyone, but is required for licensed and CCDF home providers.
