MILES HODGE of Lafayette, a 2006 graduate of Delphi Community High School, will be recognized as a Distinguished Honor Student at Purdue University on April 13. He is the son of Janell Riley, Lafayette, and Jim and Cindy Hodge, Camden.

NATHAN TRAPP of Flora recently participated in the National Postsecondary Agricultural Students Organization (PAS) annual conference in Dallas, Texas, in the Planning for Progress career program area.

The career planning event is designed to allow first-year students to explore occupational areas by interviewing industry professionals, setting career goals and outlining an educational and occupational plan to achieve those goals. Trapp placed first in the Agricultural Management and Marketing division of career planning.

A student at Muscatine Community College in the Farm Management program, Trapp is beginning a ten-week work experience with Curtis Watson of Watson Farms near Renville, Minn. Watson is a nationally recognized user and spokesperson for precision farming tools and activities.
