Margaret Kirscher Oberender

Services for Margaret (Diers) Kirscher Oberender, 88, were held March 27 in Nowalk, Iowa. Burial was in Booneville Cemetery, Booneville, Iowa.

She died Saturday, March 22, 2008, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Lafayette.

Mrs. Oberender resided most of her adult life in the Linn Grove area and Warren County, Iowa. Since December 2005, she resided at Carroll Manor in Delphi.

She was married in 1938 to H. Marvin Kirscher, who died in 1980. In 1985, she married Carl Oberender, who died in 1998.

She is survived by two daughters, Shirleen Dimmitt (husband: Cleo), of Delphi, and Bettyann Bohall (husband: Richard) of Adel, Iowa; a son, H. Marvin Kirscher Jr. (wife: Bonnie) of rural Osceola, Iowa; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Fred Diers (wife: Maxine).
