Ouabache Rendezvous re-enactors needed
Comet staff report

Rendezvous on the Ouabache will take place June 14 and 15 at Ouabache State Park near Bluffton. The "Rendezvous" is a pre-1840s living history weekend aimed at educating visitors about an important period in the history and expansion of the United States of America.

Interested pre-1840s re-enactors can pick up a registration packet at the Ouabache State Park Office. Registration is open now through May 9.

Due to limited encampment space, the number of re-enactors is limited. Applications for both camping and single day reenactors will be accepted. Re-enactors must be willing to give either talks or demonstrations during the Rendezvous.

Individuals who do not live in the area can call (260) 824-0926 or e-mail ouabacheInterp@dnr.in.gov to request a registration packet. Registrations are due back to the park by 4 p.m. May 9. Only re-enactors who complete the registration form will be considered for participation.
