Faith Lutheran Junior High Youth Group will be in charge of the worship service on April 13.

Faith Lutheran Church WELCA will meet on Tuesday, at 1:30 p.m. at the church. Eileen Lewis will give the lesson and the hostess for day will be Mildred Lamb. All of the women of the church are welcome to attend.

Deer Creek Community Center is sponsoring a Hap's Chicken Bash at the center on April 23 with serving from 4:30 to 7 p.m. For tickets, call Lois Wallace at 859- 2695.

Kenny and Lona Yeakley are home after spending most of the winter in Tucson, Ariz.

The Johnson-Herr family reunion was held recently with 41 family members attending from Arcadia, Fort Wayne, Muncie, Logansport, Walton and Deer Creek.

Deer Creek Presbyterian Church will not sponsor a breakfast on Saturday. A Pancake & Sausage Breakfast is being held at the Young America Lions Den, hosted by the Lions Club. Serving will be from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. The next breakfast for the Deer Creek Presbyterian Church will be held May 3.

Remember shut-ins and nursing home residents with cards and visits.
