50th anniversary open house

Bob and Bonnie Roberts of Delphi will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house on Sunday. The event will be hosted by their children from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Wabash & Erie Canal Conference Center in Delphi.

Roberts and the former Bonnie Lee Herron were married March 28, 1958, at the Methodist Church in Delphi.

He was employed at RCA in Monticello until it closed and then retired from W.H. Long in Lafayette. She also worked at RCA until it closed and then retired from CTS in Lafayette.

They have three children, Deb Lindley of Idaville, Curt Roberts of Flora and Tracy Burge of Delphi; eight grandchildren; and three greatgrandchildren.

The couple welcomes cards, but requests gifts be omitted.
