Card of Thanks Perhaps you sent a lovely card, or sat quietly in a chair. Perhaps you sent a funeral spray, if so we saw it there. Perhaps you spoke the kindest words, as any friend could say; perhaps you were not there at all, just thought of us that day, whatever you did to console our hearts, we thank you so much whatever the part. The family of Doris Washington I'd like to thank my family and friends for all the cards, visits, phone calls, and especially the heartfelt prayers during my stay in the hospital. I'm so blessed to live in such a close and caring community. God does answer prayer. Special thanks goes to Flora Psi Iota Xi and the Carroll County Comet for financial support, to Delphi Psi Iota Xi, 4-H Junior Leaders, Save-A-Lot, the Salvation Army and Delphi Hardware and Paint for donations, Randy and Denise Strasser, Dick and Janice Roe, Deb Mears (and helpers), the City of Delphi for the facility use and everyone else who helped to make the event the success it was.
