Rider

Ian Rider of rural Carroll County earned two top-ten finishes at the Indiana Northwest Divisional Championships held recently at the Crawfordsville Aquatic Center. An eighth grade home school student, Rider placed eighth and ninth, respectively, in the 100 and 200 yard breastroke events. He lowered his time for the 200-yard race by 11 seconds during the meet. He is the son of Jeff Rider and Abby Abbott-Rider of Delphi. He has been swimming with the Cass County Seals for four years. Photo provided
