Edward C. Storey
Edward C. "Ed" Storey, 43, of 2640 N. Troy Ave., Delphi, passed away unexpectedly March 13, 2008, at 5:30 a.m. in the emergency room at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Lafayette.

He was born Aug. 19, 1964, in Lafayette, to David and L. Janie Boone Storey, who survive and reside in Delphi. He was married to Marcella L. Gray in Pittsburg on July 3, 2006, and she survives.

Mr. Storey was a 1983 graduate of Delphi Community High School. He worked for Tate & Lyle South Plant in Lafayette for the past five years, and previously worked at Peters-Revington Furniture in Delphi for 17 years.

His hobbies were mushroom hunting, fishing, golfing, NASCAR and driver Dale Earnhardt Jr., Purdue University men's sports, and riding his Harley.

Surviving are his wife in Delphi; two sons, Nicholas A. Storey and Steven E. Storey, both of Monticello; a stepdaughter, Amanda Johnson (husband: Jason) of Delphi; a stepson, Matthew D. Peters of Phoenix, Ariz.; a sister, Sherri Chutney (husband: Edward) of Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif.; his maternal grandmother, Geneva F. Storey of Delphi; inlaws Raymond and Rosalie Gray of Delphi; and two grandchildren, Jaylynn and Jayce Johnson.

Services were held March 16 at Abbott Funeral Home in Delphi, and were officiated by the Rev. Tim Stewart. Burial was at I.O.O.F. Memorial Gardens in Pittsburg.
