Church to host egg hunt March 22

      The Hickory Grove Church annual Egg Hunt will be from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday at the church. The church is located between Idaville and Delphi at 9714 N. 700 W. Besides the egg hunt there will be games, a craft, snacks, and a treat bag to take home.

Flood bill signed by governor

      Senate Bill 104, authored by Sen. Brandt Hershman, was signed into law March 14 by Gov. Mitch Daniels according to a press release from Hershman's office. The law will allow flood victims to get started on the rebuilding of their homes.

Burlington close to clearing up grant problems

      Burlington Town Council President Stan Moore reported that town officials are making progress on clearing up the problems with the Community Block Grants the town previously received for improvements to the sewer system. The grants were out of compliance with federal standards.

Funds distributed from Camden's anniversary celebration
