Burlington An Easter Egg Hunt for toddlers through sixth graders will be held Saturday, starting promptly at 1 p.m. The annual event, sponsored by Kiwanis Club, will be held at Burlington Community Park. Children will be divided into five age groups. There will be candy and prizes for everyone. Carroll County 4-H Junior Leaders are filling the eggs. Community Good Friday Service will be held at 7 p.m. at Faith Church of Christ. The Living Last Supper will be featured. Candlelight Communion will be observed following the service. Faith CWF will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at the church. A CPR/life saving course will be held March 29 at Faith Church of Christ. Oakland Christian Church jail ministries will be March 20 for Carroll County and March 24 for Clinton County. Holy Week services at the individual area churches follow: Burlington Church of Christ Maundy Thursday Service will be at 7 p.m. March 20. Easter Sunrise Service will be at 6:30 a.m. with breakfast following. Faith Church of Christ Easter Sunday Service will be at 9:30 a.m. First Brethren Church Maundy Thursday Service and Love Feast will begin at 7 p.m. Easter Sunday Service will be at 10 a.m. Crossroads Comm. Christian Maundy Thursday Service will be at 7 p.m. and Good Friday Service will also be at 7 p.m. Easter Sunday Service will begin at 9:30 a.m. United Methodist Church Maundy Thursday Service will be at 7 p.m. Easter Sunday Service will be at 9:30 a.m. Oakland Christian Church Good Friday Service and cantata will be at 7 p.m. Easter Sunday Services will be at 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. Breakfast will be available at 9 a.m.\ |
