Deployed for duty
Wesley A. May, an airman in the U.S. Navy, was recently deployed for duty in the Middle East on the amp hibious warship U . S . S . Tarawa. H e is learning on-deck air traffic control while on deployment.

May attended Delphi schools through junior high. He enlisted in the Navy while in high school and joined the service after he graduated from Clinton Prairie High School in 2007. He graduated from naval training on Oct. 19, 2007, and is stationed in San Diego.

He is the son of Robert and Theresa May, and the grandson of Arlene Page, all of Delphi.
