Eva M. Need

Eva M. Need, 94, formerly of 7906N State Road 75, Frankfort, died at 2:05 p.m. March 11, 2008, at Wesley Manor in Frankfort.

Born Dec. 16, 1913, in Owen Township, Clinton County, she was the daughter of Robert J. and Anna Belle Weida Lipp.

She married J. William (Bill) Need on Nov. 21, 1940, and he preceded her in death on Oct. 8, 2004.

She was a lifelong resident of Owen Township and farmed with her husband for 50 years.

Mrs. Need was a school teacher for 30 years. She taught at Middlefork, Beard, and Rossville before her retirement in 1979.

She was a member of Moran and Rossville United Methodist Churches for 94 years.

Surviving are three sons, James D. (wife: Janilyn) Need, David L. (wife: Sharon) Need, and Kent W. (wife: Kathy) Need, all of rural Frankfort; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren

Services will be March 14 at 10:30 a.m. at Rossville United Methodist Church, with burial following at Kilmore Cemetery. Friends may call March 13 from 2-5 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Bodine Funeral Home, Rossville.

Memorials may be made to the Rossville United Methodist Church Building Fund.
