The Women's Creative Writing Group will sponsor ART AS YOUR WRITING MUSE, a free writer's workshop, April 1 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Wells Community Cultural Center, 638 North Street, in Lafayette. Attendees will be shown writing tips and how to use art as inspiration. Bring a pencil or pen and paper.

INDIANA FARM BUREAU DISTRICT 3 will hold a spring seminar on March 20 at The Trails in Lafayette. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m., and the program will start at 10 a.m. Speakers include ACE Ambassador winners Larry and Ruth Willy, IFB second vice president Isabella Chism, IFB insurance chief marketing officer Patty Poehler and several local Farm Bureau leaders. Reservations are due by March 12 to IFB county woman leaders. District 3 includes Newton, Jasper, Benton, White, Cass, Carroll, Tippecanoe and Clinton counties.
