Delphi Police Dept.

Feb. 22, 3:54 a.m. - Criminal mischief, Delphi High School. School bus damaged. Officer Chuck Kent responded.

Feb. 25, 5 p.m. - Runaway, resisting law enforcement, Wells St. Male juvenile left home without parental approval. After a short foot pursuit, the juvenile was taken into custody. Officer Paul Vondrasek responded.

Feb. 27, 9:45 a.m. - Property damage with injury, US421 south of Armory Rd. Sheldon K. Kinzie, 18, and Sydney J. Smith, 18, both of Delphi. Smith and a passenger were transported by ambulance to a Lafayette hospital. Officer David Yeager responded.

Feb. 29, 9:29 p.m. - Public intoxication, US421 at Franklin St. James L. Griffith, 53, Pittsburg, was arrested. Kent responded.

March 1 - Theft, warrant service, Delphi Police Dept. Darren Ward, 41, Delphi, was arrested on a county warrant for an FTA probation and on a Tippecanoe County warrant for child support. The arrest came after he reported the theft of a gas powered scooter. Vondrasek responded.

March 1 - Theft, unknown location. Hosea Bernfield reported the theft of a Skyye 9 mm pistol from his truck. Vondrasek responded.

March 1 - Assisting another agency, Lafayette. After a request from Lafayette Police Dept. to contact a local citizen concerning a vehicle being used in a crime in that city, it was learned that the person in possession of that vehicle, Samual Munoz, who also gave another name, was wanted in Carroll County on a warrant for intimidation. He was also a suspect in other crimes in the city. Photos and a copy of Munoz fingerprints were delivered to LPD which confirmed the suspect's identity. Vondrasek investigated.

March 1, 9:06 p.m. - Driving while never licensed, Washington St. at the railroad tracks. Report filed against Valintine Hernandez, 33, Flora, for driving while never licensed. Kent responded.

March 3, 12:30 a.m. - Criminal information, Clay and Union streets.

Report taken about a vehicle left at intersection running. Kent responded.

Feb. 23, 10:07 p.m.- Habitual traffic violator/life, 9000 block of W. CR310N. Mark Farrell, 52, West Lafayette, was arrested on suspicion of operating a vehicle as an habitual traffic violator/life, attempted auto theft and public intoxication. Liggett investigated.

Feb. 24, 9:49 a.m. - Criminal mischief, 3100 block of N. CR910W. Report in Pittsburg taken by Chapman.

Feb. 24, 10:39 p.m. - Theft, 5600 block of W. SR18. Report of stolen license plate was taken by Liggett.

Feb. 27, 7:39 p.m. - Information, CR150S and CR288E. Subject reported damage to vehicle after striking a piece of metal from a county highway snow plow. Liggett responded.

Feb. 23, 6:55 p.m. - Following a traffic stop, Dan A. Neidlinger, 42, Flora, was arrested on suspicion of operating while intoxicated. Officer Josh Disinger investigated. Deputy Tony Liggett assisted.

Feb. 26, 6:50 p.m. - Leaving the scene of a property damage accident. Virgil N. Kaley, 52, Flora, reported someone crashed into his trailer, parked in front of his residence, and left the scene. Sgt. James Bishop investigated.

Feb. 27, 4:44 p.m. - A theft report was taken at 204 E. Hoop St. The complaintant reported his brother stole a VCR from his residence. Officer Mark Thomas investigated.

Feb. 28, 9:06 p.m. - Darrell L. Maxwell, 56, Flora, was arrested on a warrant for failure to pay child support. Disinger investigated.

March 2, 1:30 a.m. - A criminal mischief report was taken at 586 Harmon St. The comlaintant reported a window broken out of their vehicle. Bishop investigated.

March 2, 1:40 p.m. - A juvenile complaint was taken near Center and Columbia streets. The complaintant reported juveniles were jumping their skateboards on the street curbs. Officer Randy Larimore investigated.
