Rotary seeks leadership campers

The Rotary Club of Delphi is seeking candidates to attend its 22nd annual District 6540 Rotary Youth Leadership Award Camp from April 18 to 20 at Camp Tecumseh YMCA Outdoor Center. The program was approved by the Division of Student Activities of the Indiana Secondary School Administration.

Dave Wright, local committee chair, said high school sophomores and juniors who have exhibited leadership abilities in school, church, extracurricular or community activities are eligible to attend.

The camp will feature many challenging activities including workshops, speakers, discussions, sports, music and fun. Topics will focus on decisionmaking, critical thinking, communicating effectively, public service contemporary problems and career development. Participants will live, work, study and play together in a democratic setting under the guidance of professinal counselors and educators.
