Dale Allen Williamson

A celebration of life was held at Gundrum Funeral Home, Logansport, for Dale Allen Williamson, 37, of Burrows, on Saturday.

Dale went to be with our Lord at 3:12 p.m. on Feb. 20, 2008, after a five-year battle with a malignant brain tumor.

Born Sept. 24, 1970, to Larry Joe and Nancy Hamm Williamson in Logansport, Indiana.

He graduated from Delphi Community High School in 1988 and from Vincennes University in 1990 with an Associate Degree in banking and financing.

Dale was a member of Clymers United Methodist Church and when able attended services at Whirlwind Ministries.

Dale loved God, his family, horses, and NASCAR racing. He loved to visit Mackinaw Island. He and his sense of humor will leave a large hole in his family unit.

Surviving with his mother are twin sister, Lynn Tribbett and husband Kevin of Monticello; sister, Stephanie Cripe and husband Jerry of Brownsburg; brother, Steven Williamson and wife Casady of Indianapolis; nieces Kristen Alberts, Addie Tribbett, Audrey, Lucy, and Susan Williamson; and nephew Elijah Tribbett.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Dale was a member of Clymers United Methodist Church and when able, attended services at Whirlwind Ministries.

Pastor Greg Britt officiated the services. Burial was at Keeps Creek Cemetery.
