Woodrow Stevenson

Woodrow Stevenson, 95, of Cutler, died at 6:18 a.m. Sat., Feb. 23, 2008, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Center in Delphi.

Born July 23, 1912, in Democrat Township, Carroll County, he was the son of Otto and Laura Everett Stevenson. He graduated from Cutler High School in 1931. On Jan. 8, 1958, in Michigantown, he married Maude E. Roe, who preceded him in death on Nov. 24, 1999.

A lifetime resident of the Cutler area, Mr. Stevenson farmed in Democrat Township, retiring in 1994.

He was a member of the Cutler Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Catherine Combs of Delphi; a nephew, Gordon Stevenson of Lafayette; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Mach 1, at Baker Funeral Home, Flora, www.bakerfh.com. Pastor Dan Fisher will officiate. Burial will be at Rossville Cemetery. Calling will be held prior to the service from 9 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
