Lula Mae Fife

Lula Mae Fife, 86, of Delphi, passed away Feb. 22, 2008, at 12:55 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Center. She had been a resident there since 2006.

She was born Feb. 8, 1922, in Canada, to Lyman D. and Ethel B. Rohler Fisher. Her marriage was to Arthur Lee Fife on May 31, 1941, in Flora. He preceded her in death on June 13, 1995.

Mrs. Fife was a 1940 graduate of Flora High School. She was employed as a clerk at NIPSCO in Monticello for over 17 and a half years.

Mrs. Fife was a member of Delphi Christian Church.

Surviving are her sister, Hilda Wagner of Delphi, along with nieces and nephews Jerry, Tom, Pat, Shawn, Terri and Scott.

Mrs. Fife was preceded in death by her brother, Edward E. Fisher, and her parents.

Services were held Monday at Davidson Funeral Home in Delphi, and were officiated by Pastor Andy Paris. Burial was at Maple Lawn Cemetery in Flora.
