New Filings

The following were charged with check deception: April L. Forrest; Richard Haworth; Virgil Spencer Jr.; Elizabeth C. Irwin; and Donald F. Richardson (four counts).

James F. Pritchett was charged with operating while intoxicated - endangering a person and disregarding a stop sign.

Elizabeth Ann Nicholson was charged with driving while suspended.

Nicholas F. Martin was charged with operating a motor vehicle without ever receiving a license and speeding.

Jose D. Munoz was charged with operating a motor vehicle without ever receiving a license and no headlights.

James W. Miller was charged with operating while intoxicated - endangering a person, battery, criminal recklessness, criminal mischief and open container violation.

William M. Bray was charged with public intoxication and battery.

Marcus S. McGowan was charged with operating while intoxicated - endangering, operating a vehicle with an ACE of .08 or more, disregarding a stop sign and expired license.

**** Lavina Gaiser, 51, of Rockford, Mich., pled guilty to false informing. She was sentenced to 60 days in jail, 40 days suspended, and 180 days supervised probation.

Delia M. Northern, 23, of Delphi, pled guilty to theft. She was sentenced to one and a half years in prison, all suspended, and one and a half years supervised probation.

Kathy J. Townsend, 47, of Bringhurst, pled guilty to possession of a Schedule II controlled substance and possession of marijuana. She was sentenced to one and a half years in prison, all suspended, and one and a half years supervised probation.

Bladimir Martinez, 22, of Frankfort, pled guilty to possession of marijuana. He was sentenced to 165 days in jail.

Jose F. Reyes, 21, of Rantoul, Ill., pled guilty to operating a motor vehicle without ever receiving a license. He was sentenced to 60 days in jail, all suspended, and one year unsupervised probation.

Bryon M. Townsend, 51, of Bringhurst, pled guilty to possession of marijuana. He was sentenced to one year in jail, 355 days suspended, and 355 days supervised probation.

Daniel K. Wethington, 54, of Delphi, pled guilty to driving while suspended. He was sentenced to one year in jail, 185 days suspended, and 185 days supervised probation.

Mathew A. Burkhart, 39, of Delphi, pled guilty to conversion. He was sentenced to one year in jail, all suspended, and one year supervised probation.

In a cause against Michael R. Long, the court found that the State of Indiana failed to prove beyond a reasonable doubt the defendant's knowledge of the presence of marijuana. Long was found to be not guilty of a related charge.
