We need to look for ways to "branch out" and look for additional ways for our citizens to stay local and work. We also need to have ways for the "outside world" want to come to our area. It's time to get our heads out of the sand and look for ways to add income and jobs to our area and we have to have the funds to do the research required.

It's easy to be small minded, but it takes trust in goal oriented leaders to be "like" minded. Why do we find it necessary to micro mange a business structure (EDC) that has the goal of sustaining Carroll County's economic base for future generations? For those that refuse to let change happen here, I will be hurt and disappointed along with you when we lose out on opportunity after opportunity to grow our community in positive and familiar ways.
